We appear to have arrived during a meeting.
There are two cats, a waterfront location, and no sign that visitors are part of the agenda. One of the pleasures of this clip is how little the setting needs from us. The cats are there. The rocks are there. The water provides the sort of office view people usually have to negotiate for.
Management is unavailable
Watch the difference between the two faces and the way each cat occupies its own part of the scene. The joke is in their separate reactions, rather than in any grand event. Nobody has to fall off anything or chase anything for the moment to work.
We gave the scene a meeting title because the arrangement felt familiar. That is our human reading of it, of course. The cats did not supply minutes, job titles, or a statement about what they were doing.
A good view, already claimed
The wider marina setting makes the moment. Crop it all away and you have two cats. Keep some of the rocks and waterfront, and you have two cats who seem to have secured a much better place to spend the afternoon.
It is a tiny bit of character in a familiar walk: look toward the water, notice the animals beside it, and realize you have walked into somebody else's scene.
We will direct further questions to the next available representative. Availability remains unclear.
